How the guided tasting takes place
Personalized tastings of Chianti Wine and EVO Salvadonica oil are held every day at 17.30. We will start with a brief introduction by an expert winemaker to present local products. After a quick explanation on the terroir, the Chianti vineyards, the stages of cultivation and production of wine and pure EVO oil, the tasting begins. In addition to the Extra Virgin Olive oil produced in the olive groves of the estate, we will present three types of wine from Salvadonica’s vineyards: IGT, Chianti Classico, and Riserva. To best enhance its characteristics, the wine will be accompanied by exquisite cheeses and savory cold cuts from local producers. The tasting also includes a visit to the ancient underground tuff cellar that once served as a cold room. Now used for the optimal conservation of the bottles, it is a fascinating and evocative setting for an experience that is now a ritual of taste.
