At Salvadonica we offer, on request, the opportunity to enjoy a light lunch based on salads, salami, cheeses, "crostini (crou^ton)" and "bruschetta(toasted local bread topped with fresh tuscan oil and home grown tomatoes)". In the area surrounding Salvadonica, there are many well known restaurants where one can explore the delights of typical Tuscan cuisine while savouring the famous Chianti wines. For those who wish to really discover the typical tuscan way of cooking, personalized courses can be organized nearby.

Borgo Salvadonica produce


It's no coincidence that the area is renowned for the production of its wine and extremely tasty extra virgin olive oil. The layout of the terrain and the environmental features are the perfect ingredients for making what the whole world envies us. The excellent red wines and extra-virgin olive oil are produced on the Farm where all phases of production take place. The Baccetti family has always produced oil and wine for its own consumption and with the expansion of the Farm and the advent of new techniques this production expanded sufficiently to allow for direct sales to all those who enjoy the decisive flavours of this land.

Capovolto

This has become a classic of the Baccetti family's production. With distinct similarities to Chianti Classico (80% of San Giovese grapes) this wine is aged in barriques for six months and in barrels for six months before being bottled.

 

 

Donico

A full-bodied wine made from half Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and half San Giovese. It is aged in barriques for one year and in vats for one year, it's a full-bodied wine that goes perfectly with roast meats and cheeses.

 

 

The Oil

Made from the first cold pressing our oil is a yellow/green colour with a decisive, intense flavour, ideal for salads and dressing raw vegetables, excellent for cooking or for pouring over dishes as it is. It is particularly suitable for use in the diet not just on account of its aroma and flavour but also on account of its properties, inasmuch as produced by the mere pressing of the olives, without any further chemical or physical manipulation.
